Details throughout the upper play supporting roles to the University of North Carolina-friendly blue that animates most of the shoe. Midsoles opt for stark “Black” contrast, while select zones across the tread favor a semi-translucent, icy blue finish. Lastly, the inner lining favors a non-standard finish that works in-tandem with the “SOUL” and “HEART” messaging on the tongues’ undersides in further expanding the Jordan 5‘s legacy.
