In its branding, this Dunk Low is visually subversive, splicing together many of the logos we’re well-accustomed to seeing in whole. The colorway, by comparison, is much more familiar, dressed in a “University Red/Black-LT Silver-White” palette that conjures to mind images of the iconic Air Jordan 1 “Chicago.” This connection is all but lost when it comes to the Swoosh and outsole, however, as the two fixtures are split down the middle much like the adjacent insignia. What’s more, Nike has made a few subtle tweaks to the model’s construction, replacing its topmost eyelet with the hardware.
