

Peter Moore’s made-for-basketball design debuted in 1985, but has found new lives at various points since. The last handful of years have seen the low-top silhouette emerge in a healthy mix of heritage and modern styles, with the latter category soon including a new grey and white option. Smooth leather bases are replaced with cotton twill, while overlays across the upper also take on a non-standard build. Swooshes on the sidewalls inject some semblance of familiarity into the Nike Dunk, but branding on the tongue label and spine further experiment with the shoes’ blueprint. The beloved sole unit also taps into the upper’s Grayscale arrangement, but traction dons a recycled finish that promotes the brand’s sustainability efforts.
